Staffing Director

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

The Staffing Director will consult with internal leaders to develop a deep understanding of their recruiting need(s), to then initiate/develop in-depth innovative recruiting pipeline. 

This individual will work to achieve talent acquisition metrics and goals including quality of applicant pools, diversity, quality and number of hires, hiring manager, and new hire satisfaction. 

Proactively evaluate and assess the client group’s talent acquisition needs (with a focus on both current recruiting needs and emerging talent needs) to implement creative, efficient, and effective sourcing and recruitment campaigns. 

Conduct interviews as needed in partnership with the Recruiting team. 

Develop and track sourcing plans that maximize ROI and expedite narrowing of the targeted candidate pool. 

Responsible for weekly/monthly audits to ensure site compliance in all aspects of the hiring process. 

Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of professional and non-exempt direct reports; providing prompt and objective coaching and counseling; and coordinating, planning, and assigning work for staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable legal requirements. 


Candidate Profile:

· Minimum of four years of high volume recruiting/staffing experience 

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent education/work experience will be considered 

· Experience in managing functional groups; teamwork/collaboration expertise with significant experience in team/project-oriented activities 

· Strong interpersonal skills; experience building successful, productive relationships with senior leadership 

· Business acumen to elicit trust and credibility with all levels of the organization 

· Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills 

· Advanced planning, time management, and decision making skills; detail-oriented 

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed to assess candidates and make recommendations for courses of action 

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

· Demonstrated expertise to conduct innovative sourcing and prescreening activities and related assessment tools 

· Comfort with social networking tools; demonstrated knowledge of attracting and engaging talent virtually is preferred 

· Strong understanding and appreciation of a diverse work environment and have demonstrated initiatives for recruiting for diversity 

· Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment law and equal employment guidelines and policies, including the principles and practices of recruiting administration including methods and techniques used in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, and training 

· Strong computer skills and ability to utilize HRIS system; proficiency in, Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with an Applicant Tracking System
